What is this?
140aday is a tiny private journal. One entry per day, never longer than 140
characters — room for a thought, not a performance.
The limit is permanent, and it’s the point: small enough to write every day,
short enough to read back years at a time.
How it works
- 1 Write. One thought a day. Add inline #tags if you like —
they become filters in your archive.
- 2 Look back. Days gather into a quiet archive you can browse
by week, by month or by tag — with plain counts, never scores.
- 3 Remember. “On this day” brings back what you
wrote on today’s date in years past.
Works offline and installs to your home screen like an app — entries written
without a connection sync when you reconnect.
Private by design
- No tracking. No ads, no analytics, no third-party anything —
not even fonts.
- No AI. Nothing reads, ranks or summarises your words.
- Private by default. A public archive page exists, but only if
you choose to turn it on.
- Minimal data. Your account is an email address and a hashed
password. The entries are yours.
- Free to leave. Export everything anytime as Markdown, JSON or
plain text.
